About Dr. Schoonmaker

Dr. Schoonmaker is a board-certified internist with a primary care practice at Pentucket Medical Associates. She earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her post-graduate training at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA.

Dr. Schoonmaker chose to become a primary care practice physician as a way to help the most people.  She believes healthy lifestyles lead to healthy relationships, families and communities.  As a physician, she aims to assist and advise people in our community on how to reach their personal goals. Dr. Schoonmaker currently serves on the hospital's Board of Trustees.
