About Dr. Downs

Dr. Downs is a board-certified foot surgeon. He lectures extensively throughout the Merrimack Valley on a wide range of topics related to the lower extremity. The physicians at New England Foot and Ankle specialize in treatment of the foot and ankle, and see patients of all ages. The doctors and staff are dedicated to providing patients with the finest medical, surgical and rehabilitative treatments.

Currently, Dr. Downs and his family live on the North Shore. He is a former collegiate rower and has competed internationally. He continues to remain active athletically through his participation in road races, triathlons and recreational rowing on the Merrimack River.
