About Dr. Uzosike
Akachimere C. Uzosike, MD, MPH is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in all aspects of nonsurgical and surgical care of the adult and pediatric spine. Dr. Uzosike treats conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, including traumatic spinal injuries, spinal deformity, tumors, infections, and degenerative spine conditions.

Dr. Uzosike earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree, along with a Master of Public Health, from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, respectively. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program in Boston, MA, followed by a fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital in New York, NY.
In his free time, Dr. Uzosike enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling, and searching for new hobbies.
