About Dr. Cruz-Gonzalez MD

Dr. Cruz is board certified in Gastroenterology, received her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.

Performed her postgraduate training at the University of South Florida. 

After practicing gastroenterology for more than 15 years, she pursued her interest in Neurogastroenterology and Motility at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Cruz specializes in diseases of the digestive system. She diagnoses and treats conditions that affect the esophagus, stomach, small and large bowel (colon), liver and pancreas. Other interests of hers include nutrition and lifestyle medicine. She is also bi-lingual in Spanish.

She moved to New England with her husband after falling in love with the history, culture and stunning scenery, especially during fall.

She enjoys watercolor painting, cooking and photography.

Dr. Cruz believes in a life long commitment of excellence, self improvement and learning at any stage, practicing medicine in a compassionate, respectful and proficient way always putting patients first.
