About Dr. Kilmartin

Dr. Catherine Kilmartin grew up in Massachusetts and attended UMass Amherst before joining Teach for America and moving to New York City to teach middle school science in the South Bronx. She stayed in New York to complete medical school at New York Medical College. She then trained and completed a general surgery residency at Temple University in Philadelphia prior to a second residency for plastic and reconstructive surgery at University of Virginia in Charlottesville. During her training, she was able to study in Taiwan with world renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Fu-chan Wei as well as publish in scientific journals.

Dr. Kilmartin will be joining Dr. Michele Sasmor in her practice at RiverSong Plastic Surgery, which is known to provide the highest quality, comprehensive, safe, compassionate, and safe surgical care. She is excited to bring her family back to her home state and serve the community of Newburyport for their plastic and reconstructive needs.
