About Dr. Thumser

Dr. Thumser joined the Children’s Health Care practice in 1990. Her special clinical interests include lyme disease, autism and behavioral pediatrics. Dr. Thumser has also been active in medical mission work, and along with her husband and two children, has undertaken mission work in Guatemala, Haiti and in the Merrimack Valley.

The physicians at Children’s Health Care in Newburyport offer a full range of pediatric and adolescent care, including newborn care, well-child care, emergency care and treatment of illnesses. The practice offers extensive office hours, including evening hours and urgent care availability on weekends and holidays.
