Tools for Breastfeeding Success

Planning to breastfeed/chestfeed your baby? Join the Breastfeeding Class at Anna Jaques Hospital. You'll gain the knowledge and tools needed to help you succeed.

Classes are taught by Anna Jaques lactation consultants for you and your support person(s).

Topics include:

  • Benefits to parent and baby
  • Basic anatomy and physiology
  • Common concerns
  • Community resources and supports
  • Myths versus facts
  • Positioning and latching on
  • Quick pumping info

Please register early, and plan to attend in your third trimester of pregnancy. Email us with the following information to register:

  • Your date of birth
  • Due date

  • Preferred class dates and time

We will respond within 72 hours to confirm your registration and provide information on how to make payment.

Virtual Class Option

You may opt to take the breastfeeding class online. This option allows you to take the class independently and at your own pace. There is no in-class experience included in the online option. See event details for cost and registration details.
