We make access to high-quality women’s health care our top priority. We have locations in Haverhill and Newburyport, offer evening hours and have on-site labs and ultrasound for your convenience. When you have an urgent concern, we have you covered with a doctor or nurse midwife on call 24/7.

Your First Appointment

We want you to feel comfortable. Plan extra time for your first visit so your medical team can get to know you, evaluate your needs and discuss your medical history. Be prepared to complete a medical history questionnaire about your conditions, surgeries, medications and treatments.

Billing & Insurance

Please bring your current insurance card and photo ID for all visits.

Some insurance plans may require a referral from your primary care physician (PCP) before your first visit. We accept most private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Some services may not be covered by your policy; please check with your plan administrator.

Copayments, deductibles, coinsurance and non-covered services must be paid at the time of your visit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks and cash.

Please note:

• Ultrasound services, lab services, pathology services and other tests are not provided by Women’s Health Care; therefore, you will receive billing statements from the providers performing those services.
• Please notify our staff if your insurance carrier requires specific labs or pharmacies.

For refill requests ONLY, please call 978-469-1340 and provide the dosage, pharmacy name and phone number. Refill requests are best received early in the day to allow enough time for the pharmacy to fill them.
