About Dr. Beams

Dr. Marjorie Eden Beams, MD, is a board-certified family and community medicine physician. She attended Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors in classical studies. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her medical doctorate, and then completed residency in family and community medicine at Christiana Care in Wilmington, Delaware. Previously, Dr. Beams worked at Families First Health Center in Portsmouth, NH where she served as medical director. She is excited to join United Family Medicine in Newburyport, on the campus of Anna Jaques Hospital. She is passionate about providing evidence-based, trauma-informed and holistic care to her clients, with special interests in preventative medicine and healthy aging.
