About Dr. Navarra

Dr. Navarra is a board-certified internist who specializes in geriatric medicine. He completed his medical degree in Madrid, Spain in 1991, then came to the United States to perform his post-graduate training.

Dr. Navarra is also a Bariatrician. He is a licensed physician who, as a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP), has received special training in the medical treatment of overweight and obesity and its associated conditions.  Bariatricians use a comprehensive program of diet, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle changes and, when indicated, appetite suppressants and other appropriate medications. 

Dr. Navarra offers "MedTrimMD", a comprehensive weight loss program (formerly named New Self Weight Loss Center) located at 21 Highland Avenue, Suite 6, in the Doctor’s Office Building. MetTrimMD is a comprehensive program of diet, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle changes and, when indicated, appetite suppressants and other appropriate medications. Dr. Navarra completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He is president of Seacoast Medical Associates, which is conveniently located on the Anna Jaques Hospital campus.
