Birth Center Welcome Visit
Prepare for Delivery with a Birth Center Welcome Visit
Once you’ve decided that Anna Jaques Hospital is where you’d like to deliver your baby, we invite you to participate in a Birth Center Welcome Visit with one of our registered nurses. We recommend scheduling this visit one to two months before your due date.
- See a patient room and all the amenities the Birth Center offers
- Complete your admission questions and consents ahead of time while you are comfortable and not rushed
- Learn ways you can prepare your body for an optimal labor and delivery
- Review your birth preferences
- Learn more about feeding your baby
- Ask any questions you or your support person may have
We encourage you to bring your partner or support person along for this visit.
