About Dr. Tilson

Dr. Richard Tilson earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Dr. Tilson is board-certified in gastroenterology and practices at Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants. His clinical interests include general gastroenterology and hepatology, with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and colon cancer screening.

He serves as President of the Massachusetts Gastroenterology Association and is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, where he participates on the Practice Management Committee, as well as the Digestive Health Physicians Association.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Tilson enjoys cooking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
